Wow, it's been a while!

So, my past post was last January, at the beginning of my teaching term, and I guess I got too swamped to keep posting. It's now 9 months later and so much has happened! And once again, I'm at the beginning of a teaching term, so time will be limited.

Still, a few good updates are in order, and perhaps some pix:

In the spring, Jake set off his new rockets in a field at pleasant grove:



Jake and Gram spent a lot of time together this summer. Ashleigh and I did a babysitting swap so they got together to play with one of us at least twice a week. They were both always so happy to see each other! It was lovely to see.

We ended our swap in the middle of August, for many reasons, not the least of which is that both she and I are now pregnant!

Just yesterday Jake told me he misses Gram, and Gram's daddy told Mike yesterday that Gram has been asking about Jake. At 2 and 3 years old, they've become real friends!

Oh yes, Jake turned three, with a great playgroup party at our house, and Grandma Lynne came to visit several times.
