Abby Sitting Up

We got all dressed up today to go meet Mary Margaret for coffee. We bumped into some friends there and Abby and her new outfit were much admired! She's also getting really good at holding her head up.

We also went to Jake's school this afternoon for parent/child night. He was ecstatic. He happily showed us several of his favorite works: sawing, making bubbles, shaving soap, and arranging flowers, and was so disappointed when time was up and we had to go! It was great to see him so enthralled and orderly and proud to be doing things all by himself.

    I'd like to add that Abby was good as gold the whole time we had coffee -- we actually TALKED! The major interruptions came from Audrey, the almost-two-year-old who loves babies (and whose Mommy tends to talk a weird baby talk when speaking to Audrey).

    Thanks - yes, Abby was good. She likes mornings. It's late afternoons and evenings which cause trouble!!

    She also loves being out and about. New things to see, people to meet!
