The sky was overcast, but the trail was bursting with fall color. We even saw 2 horses and their owners out for a ride.

Then we picked up Mike at home and went for brunch at a latino cafe in town.
The rest of the day was spent in Mike's garage studio, cleaning it up, getting the rugs down and the lights up to prepare for the week's photoshoots. We did one with Jake when he woke up and got some lovely shots, to come soon.
Dinner was pasta with pesto for us, chicken nuggets, ham and cheese for Jake. He ate pretty well, finally!
Boy the weekend went fast!
